AAG Ventures is delighted to announce a partnership with Heroes of Mavia with an investment of $335k in Mavia Land. What is Heroes of Mavia?
Heroes of Mavia is a play-to-earn MMO strategy game designed and developed by Skrice Studios on Ethereum’s Layer-2, Arbitrum. Players build out their base and command an army to battle other players and earn in-game resources like RUBY, Mavia’s in-game reward token. Combining Axie Infinity’s crypto elements and Clash of Clans’ gaming features, Mavia builds on a proven gaming concept beloved by many, and increases the stakes further by introducing crypto rewards.
There are three main gameplay elements in Mavia: Creating value through battle and conquer, earning while offline, and matching skill levels. Worried about not maximizing your yield? Worry not because you can earn OFFLINE! Successfully defend your base with 33% damage or less by fortifying it and earn RUBY!
Mavia NFTs
Land is not the only NFTs players can own in the world of Mavia. Others include Heroes and Statues. Heroes assist players in attacking opponent bases, as well as protecting their home base in defensive battles. Meanwhile, Statues provide a boost to base stats, production rates, and other in-game metrics.
Earning in Mavia
Heroes of Mavia has a dual token model in the form of MAVIA and RUBY.
MAVIA is the governance token of the ecosystem. It is used outside of the game on the Mavia web platform to buy and sell NFTs, rent bases, and for staking incentives. MAVIA spent on the marketplace incurs no fees.
RUBY is earned, and used heavily in-game to control selling and buying pressure. Use cases of RUBY include upgrading your base HQ, Heroes, and Statues. These upgrades will help players to better attack and defend, providing them with an advantage over their opponents. Additional use cases include purchasing Gold & Oil, speeding up processes, and purchasing skins and decorations. By spending RUBY on these purchases, players essentially buy time and add value to NFTs. RUBY can also be earned aside from attacking and defending. These include clearing base obstacles, completing daily challenges, partnering your base with other players, and wagering matches. So, make sure you check your bases daily and try to maximize your RUBY earned!!!
